TBF State Championship was held on June 5-6, 2026 on Columbus Lake at the Columbus Marina in Columbus MS. Hosted by The Columbus-Lowndes Convention & Visitors Bureau. Qualified anglers and co-anglers competed for the opportunity to advance to The 2026 District Semi-Finals. On Day One anglers had a cool start in the morning hours then clear skies to finish up the afternoon. On Day two anglers were met with a warm start, clouds and then sunny skies.
After two days of competition Andrew Schrock with a two-day total of 21.84 is the 2026 MS TBF State Champion Boater. Finishing second was Mike Perrigan with a two-day total of 20.57, third was Hunter Leech with a two-day total of 19.69, fourth was Kyle Hill with a two-day total of 19.55, fifth was Clint Pegg with a two-day total of 17.17, and finishing up in sixth place was Mark Floyd with a two-day total of 15.96. These boaters will all represent MS TBF at the 2026 District Semi-Finals.
On the co-angler side Edwin Gregory with a two-day total of 15.87 is the 2026 MS TBF State Champion Co-Angler. Finishing second was Randy Howell with a two-day total of 14.43, third was Aaron Brasher with a two-day total of 13.18, fourth was Troy Ladner with a two-day total of 12.74, fifth was Roger Mitchell with a two-day total of 7.41, and sixth was Andy Davis with a two-day total of 6.14. These co-anglers will all represent MS TBF at the 2026 District Semi-Finals.
Big Fish for Day 1 Boater was 4.45 pounds caught by Lane McKee and Day 1 Co-angler was 2.99 pounds caught by Roger Mitchell. Big Fish for Day 2 Boater was 4.41 pounds caught by Kyle Hill and Day 2 Co-angler 2.78 pounds caught by Edwin Gregory.
