The 2026 SAF High School MS State Championship was held May 30, 2026 on Sardis Lake in Batesville MS.
Upper Tombigbee Student Angler Trail team of Coldin Baughman and Cooper Moorman took first place with 5 fish for 13.43 pounds. Coldin and Cooper will represent SAF Mississippi at the SAF High School Nationals and World Finals June 24-27, 2026 at Lake Cumberland in Russell Springs Kentucky.
Second place team was Trevor Shinall and Hayes Hollis with 10.43 pounds Trevor and Hayes also had the big bass of the day weighing in at 5.38 pounds. Rounding out the top three was Townsend Keizor and Brandon Dabbs with 10.31 pounds.
