The Mississippi TBF Junior State Championship was held March 5th on the Pascagoula River System in Moss Point, MS.  Eli Herring and Hunter Lee took home the Junior State Champ title and will advance to the 2023 Junior World Championship in July. Eli and Hunter had a five fish limit that weighed 10 pounds 8 ounces. They also brought in the big bass of the day at 3 pounds 14 ounces. In 2nd place was Kasyn Arender and Karter Smith with 6 pounds 13 ounces and 3rd place was Owen Davis and Ryder Berry with 6 pounds 8 ounces. For full results CLICK HERE. The Mississippi TBF would like to thank Mayor Billy Knight for taking the time to speak with the teams, and the City of Moss Point, including Ms. Donna Joseph and the Parks and Recreation Department team for allowing us to use their outstanding riverfront site and facility amenities. We also want to thank Sue Wright with Moss Point Main Street Association for all her efforts in making this a great event for the student anglers.

Team Event Information

Registration will begin at 5:00am at Beaver Lake Boat Ramp, 425 Beaver Lake Road, Fulton MS  38843 on the day of the tournament June 18, 2022.

 Bring Proof of TBF Junior Youth Membership, Proof of grade level, and Birth Certificate.

 Membership due: $35.00 TBF Junior Membership per child if not already paid.

Ages: 8^th grade or below only.

 Tournament Rules and Regulations:

Must supply your own boat and boat captain.  Boat Captain must be 19 years or older.  Must come in teams.  This is a team event, each team fishes for 5 (five) fish limit, 12 inches in length.  Dead fish penalty ½ pound per dead fish.  Short fish penalty 1 pound for each short fish.  Late check in penalty 1 pound per minute up to 15 minutes.  Penalties deducted from total weight.  Complete rules can be found at www.bassfederation.com.

THE TOP 10% WILL REPRESENT MS TBF AT THE 2022 JUNIOR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP   July 26-29, 2022.
