The 2026 Mississippi TBF Junior State Championship was held May 30, 2026 on Sardis Lake in Batesville MS.
Upper Tombigbee Student Angler Trail team of Brooks Higginbotham and Rigg McCrary took first place with 5 fish for 16.19 pounds. Brooks and Rigg also had big fish bass for the day weighing 4.42 pounds. Brooks and Rigg will represent TBF Mississippi at the Junior World Championship July 29-31, 2026 at Lake Dardanelle in Russellville Arkansas.
Second place team was Weston Singley with 4.11 pounds. Rounding out the top three was Ian Phelps and Emma Phelps with 3.75 pounds.
